[Music] hello interwebs welcome to let's fix computers uh i've got a dell g5 laptop here really nice machine this actually uh i7 gtx something whatever very nice laptop uh it does not turn on um so this has got the classic dell symptom of uh the charger cuts out so i'll show you what this looks like let's just travel over here here i have the charger for this this is a 180 watt charger so that's 19 and a half volts at 9.23 amps and as you can see we've got a green light on the charger there so green light on the charger and when i plug the charging cable in heck i need to adjust my screens and if i plug the charger in we go and the light on the charger has gone out and in order to make the charger light come back on again i've got to unplug the charger so disconnect it from the mains wait a couple of seconds plug it back in and now the light has come back on so as you can see the charge
