this is the dell optiplex 740. welcome back to the workshop i've picked up this system a while back i wanted to make a video on it months ago but i've had nothing but issues with it the system cost me a grand total of roughly seven us dollars but it has given me nothing but problems i decided to pick it up because i really like the aesthetics of the dell optiplex systems from the era these vtx systems and i've never had one of these so i decided hey i want one and i couldn't resist the price so the system came in a pretty horrible state it was very dirty and it stunk very badly it even had some living organisms inside such as bugs roaches all kinds of stuff it took me quite a while to clean it out completely and it was sort of a nightmare but i mean that's what you get for the price the reason the system was sold for so cheap was because it did not complete its power on self-test did it
