hello and welcome to knowledge bar my name is Jerry and this is the Dell Inspiron our series laptop we're not going to talk about how fast it is we're not going to talk about its capacity we're going to talk about how to change the lid they have a swappable lid on this series which makes it possible to personalize it the trick is how to take the lid off without damaging it they have a pop click switch series on here and the trick is that there's a small release button you're on the back of the unit right here that releases it and so you can slide off via this up so we can take another peek at least this button here and the whole unit comes up and off like so then go ahead take our replacement lid and click down into place and we're done really quite simple but you do have to look for the little release button back here when I first saw this I was a reaching for my pocketknife admittedly
