Dell TU005 PowerEdge 2950 1950 256MB PERC 5i SAS/SATA RAID Controller Card + BAT

hi so today I'm going to go ahead and show you how to do a raid configuration on a park 5i raid cart inside of a Dell PowerEdge 2950 second-generation server let's go ahead and power up this machine what we've got in here is we've got four 146 gig hard drives with that we're able to do four different raid configurations with the perc 5 irate card we can do a raid 0 which were which is where we span the information across all the selected drives giving us the full giving us the full amount of size that we can get from all four drives I'm combining four for 146 is into one giant virtual drive we're gonna go ahead and hit control R to get into the root configuration utility which just popped up as you can see hitting a few times and that'll throw us in there back to raid 0 that will give you the full space of all the drives together into one giant virtual drive the next configuration we ca
