hi I'm going from velocity tack solutions and today I'm going to be doing a video on a battery replacement on a del 1950 server so first thing you're going to want to do you're going to have all your surfer unplugged we've already got ours to that point so you'll open up the machine now you'll be looking for is your internal rate controller which on the 1950s located in the front left of the machine now you will notice that it kind of has a battery cable leading to this little rectangular black piece this is actually the lithium ion battery that will have failed if you're going to be replacing it so pretty much all you do if you push over this little clasp or a metal clip it allows you to take off the battery let's unplug the cable and as simple as that just take your new battery plug in the cable we secure it down on a recent determine and on the next boot up it should then detect that
