[Music] hello and welcome to another video of the micro pilot and this one's a bit of a ground-based one this time I'm just going to talk through pilot knee boards and sort of the other essentials that we use for flying as a pilot and especially general aviation I'm sure there's a whole load of other stuff you need it to be a commercial pilot so I won't even start to cover that kind of stuff but first of all knee boards so the main reason pilots have knee boards when you're sat down in a cockpit you've basically got a little table with you where you can have all your information that you need for your flights and you can write things down if you need to and it's just the handy little things to have whilst you're flying most pilots can fly without an e board but there's absolutely no requirement to have one but it's pretty much an essential thing to have when you're first training as wel
