hello i'm steve crane customer care consultant for wire CARICOM today I'd like to talk to you about assembling and disassembling deutsche dt connectors to assemble a deutsch connector you'll need a properly crimped wire a plug or receptacle housing a proper wedge lock to lock in the contacts as well as the wedge lock tool or a flathead screwdriver to learn more about making a proper crimp please click the link in the description once your wires are properly crimped you can now start inserting them into the housing as you can see we've already got one inserted I'm going to go ahead and put the other one into the housing all you're going to do is slide the contact into the back of the housing push until you hear a snap and a click wire snaps right into place and your wives are secure now that your wires are in place it's time to put the wedge lock in to lock the contacts in place the best
