Hi it's Emma at The Bead Shop in
Nottingham and today I'm going to be showing you how to mix up the Devcon
5 minute epoxy glue and how to use it to stick these acrylic roses on to metal
findings such as these stud earrings. It's a very strong epoxy glue which is
especially good for sticking anything like plastic or metal to metal findings,
it provides a really strong bond which is much stronger than any super glue or
hot glues can provide. So with any epoxy glue it always comes in two parts and
with Devcon 5 minute epoxy, it's really obvious- there's one tube which
has a black lid and one tube which has a white lid. The white lid is a hardener and
the black lid is the resin and all we need to do is mix an equal pea-sized
amount from both tubes together and apply it to the surfaces and as the name
suggests, the bond does go off and sets hard in five minutes, although we do recommend
