insert buckle on band ears away from installer then end of band under buckle rap object bringing band through buckle again insert band in tool nose slot and slide with thumb on band gripper lever tightened by turning tool handle when band sees is moving through buckle stop turning the handle roll tool over buckle while reversing the handle one turn pull handle to cut band remove the tool push band stub between the ears then hammer completing the assembly
