hey everybody today we're going to install the gigabit desktop PCI adapt hi everybody and welcome back to another episode of d-link TV DIY I'm Mike and I'm here to help you get more out of networking so here at d-link we're known for making wireless networking products we're always talking about you know Wireless this and wireless that but there is call for wired networking one of these is let's say your where your cable modem or DSL modem comes into your office you have your router and you normally have a PC right there well there's no reason to really you know connect that computer wirelessly it's more cost effective and you'll get more speed by using something like a Gigabit Ethernet adapter especially if you have a router like the dir-655 extreme in gigabit router then you're getting the best bang for your buck when you're connecting to say the dns-323 which has a gigabit port also
