Close-up macro lenses are for quick and easy small distance photography. Digital Nc close-up lenses screw on to the front of a lens like a filter. A stepping ring is supplied for sizes 39 & 41.5 only. (39-52mm) (41.5-52mm). The lens also contains two achromatic elements to correct chromatic aberrations ensuring they do not degrade the high optical performance of your cameras lens.

The high definition +10 close-up lens provides dramatically shorter MOD (Minimum Object Distance). This is essential when focusing tightly on a small subject in tabletop, miniature and flat field video or photography. For example, add a +10 diopter to an 18-55mm lens with an MOD of 1', and bring it down to 1/2", filling the frame with a subject as small as 3/4" across.

High-Index / Low-Dispersion 2 Element Optical Glass. Single element diopters permit focusing at close camera-to-subject distances, only at the expense of image clarity. Instead, Digital Nc close-up lenses feature two highly corrected glass elements for edge-to-edge sharpness, thus minimizing chromatic aberration and distortion.

Digital Nc close-up lenses are fully Multi-Coated & Threaded with Anti-Reflection Coating which reduces working distance to offer a wide range of shooting possibilities. Exceptionally crisp videography of small objects like jewelry or computer chips is now possible. A variety of industrial applications are also made simpler, including remote, high-magnification visual inspection of hard-to-reach objects and manufacturing processes.
