3.Selection of power supply
<1>: FM radios are radio-sensitive devices, and interference from nearby sources may affect the reception of radio stations, such as nearby microwaves.Furnace, high-frequency welding, or high-power motors can interfere with the normal operation and reception of the radio.
<2>: Module power input port (marked DC3.0-5.0V on the PCB) -, + connected to the negative pole of the power supply (battery or regulated power supply).And the positive pole (be sure to check the power supply voltage and polarity before power-on and then power on).
<3>: The power supply voltage is required to be between 3.0V and 5.0V, and the maximum current is 2A or more, and the output ripple is small.
<4>: The power supply is recommended to be obtained by voltage regulation after the lithium battery or the power frequency transformer is rectified and filtered. Cannot use open without filter.Turn off the power, such as mobile phone charger, charging treasure. First, the switching process of this type of power supply will generate a lot of high-frequency interference, which directly affects the radio reception.

the folks over at IC station have sent me a little module to test and show you guys this one here is just an FM stereo receiver module pretty basic stuff quite inexpensive and a perfect little project for a beginner let's take a look at it so today I have a little gadget from China this is a little board that was sent to me from the people at IC station and basically this is the FM radio module now who would find something like this useful well if you just need a line level FM radio such as for music on hold or or something this might just do the job because it's it's very inexpensive runs off I'm just putting the antenna on it runs off of a single USB type power supply and just has a standard three-and-a-half millimeter mini plug so we'll plug that in and we'll plug it into the ability up our plug into my amplifier and we'll just plug this in and see how this little device works Victor
