hey everyone scott here and just got another short video looking at some recent acquisitions and the first thing we're looking at is the oxford study bible it's in the revised english bible translation and it includes the apocrypha and it's a complete guide to the world of the bible it's a very kind of academic critical type of study bible like a new oxford etc our grant jones has a good review of this which i'll link to but if you know that you like that kind of bible or you don't might give you an idea about whether you want one of these or not the revised english bible came out the same year as the nrsv that was in 1989 and it's kind of the same camp kind of mainline tradition not an evangelical translation be fair to say but uh i'm familiar with the new english bible that preceded it and like that i've got a couple of those so i thought yeah i'll finally check out the reb and this w
