Door Lock Knob Keyless Digital Electronic Machinery Code Keypad Password Entry

I am going to change out a regular doorknob for a key padlock on my shop door I will begin by unscrewing the screws that hold the knob together on the inside of the door once the screws have been taken out the doorknob comes apart with ease I will then remove the old latch by first unscrewing the two screws that hold the faceplate on you once the face plate has been removed the latch will simply slip right out I will now remove the strike plate by removing the screws that hold it to the door jam I can now install the new strike plate I like to replace the short screws that came with a strike plate with longer screws the longer screws will make the strike plate more secure by reaching the studs beyond the door jamb this is totally optional I can now install the new latch making sure the latch angle faces the door jamb secure the new faceplate by tightening the screws into the door instal
