Dr. Slick RIS8S Reel (Silver) and NP2KT Nipper (Satin)

here we're going to take a dr. slick nipper and nail not tool combo you're going to have a high quality super sharp stainless steel nipper this is available in this satin color and in black you've got your sharp needle at the back of it here to clean out any glue out of any hook eyes or flies and of course your nail mat tool which has this little sliding rod that will push the knot off the end of the tool to use this tool you simply just extend it off of the back of the nipper you take your leader you're just going to thread the leader through the back of the tool towards the front and what I like to do is I take the end of the leader and I just wedge it in between the nipper and the nail not tool here and that will keep it in place I leave about 7 8 inches hanging off the the front of the the tool here now there's a little notch on the bottom of the tool here you can see it's not total
