here is a rather creative setup for charging a lithium-ion battery in the vice i have one of these this is a nikon en el1 battery and i don't have a charger for this but it is a 7.4 volt lithium-ion battery and that's actually 0.2 volts more than the good old sony npf type battery which is 7.2 volts so i thought it should be safe to use one of these cheap generic chargers for sony npf type batteries i have it connected via these alligator clip leads to the nikon battery and it seems to have taken a charge it has been charging for quite a while and the light has now turned green and yes this does look a little bit odd i have repaired this charger it used to have a red and green dual color led in this spot but that led somehow went bad so i replaced it with separate red and green leds now these batteries belong to this this is a nikon coolpix 5400 this is a real blast from the past this w
