hi I'm Josh kb6 v2 today I'm in a compare and contrast these two DMR and FM radios this is the Motorola X pr70 550 and this is the Motorola X PR 6550 these are both great radios they both do DMR type 1 and type 2 which is fine for the amateur Network they both do FM also they'll do narrow and they'll do wide as long as you have the software for it and they both do DMR APRs they both use the same software to program it the same cps and they also use the same cable although this one can be programmed via bluetooth and you don't need any cable at all firmware upgrades still need to be done with the cable but you can program it via bluetooth this is a huge feature I love this feature with this radio because as Hamm's we're programming our radios at least I am all the time reprogramming if I go on a trip I want to put in a new repeater so I love that I don't have to take the side off attach
