ec3 connector soldering day today I'm gonna be soldering this male ec3 connector to an ESC or the female and that's on the battery pack the battery and has the female bullet in it and the male end has the obviously the male bullet the male ec3 however is the larger of the two connectors that slides over the the female one and this is exactly the same same procedure here if you were doing the larger ec5 connectors or the little tiny ec two's this is the same thing they all use the bullets that snap into the connectors no heat shrink is required for insulation because to connect the the pin is nicely recessed inside the connector and no exposed wiring should be showing so what I like to do with these here's our male pin I like to insert it into a female pin and then mount it in something to hold it nice and sturdy I use my little drill press vise here you could use anything the drill pres
