this is how we did a sub woofer install in a 2015 Toyota to go on this one's hooked up with a stock head unit in this model we use the taco Tunes box perfect fit so the easiest way to do this as you note to take off this back panel or else it won't fit there's one main bracket that sits back on this rail that you have to pop off within this box from taco tunes fits right in there pretty perfectly we incurred it down so when you have bumps it doesn't rattle around but we put some L brackets and then two on the bottom if they take the the seat out to get it fully in and the way we rent cables up here under the hood is where we went into the battery out of the fuse blocks or block itself and went through just the factory grommet these a little hanger and pull it through came out from up underneath here these panels just pop off their only clips ran the power cord all the way down out from
