Transparent film dressing is 2.75''W X 2.36'' L(6cmx7cm) and 100 pieces each box. The dressing is comfortable and allows moisture vapor exchange. It’s waterproof, impermeable to liquid and bacteria, and protect the site from outside contaminations. Indications for Use Transparent film dressings are intended for catheter fixation and wound protection, such as abrasions, cuts, minor burns, blister, post-surgical incision, tattoo aftercare. 1. Wash hands, gently clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin before application. 2. Remove the back paper from the dressing to expose the adhesive surface. Don’t touch the adhesive side of dressing. 3. Center the dressing over the wound. Don’t stretch the dressing while applying. 4. Gently pressure from the center outward, remove the backing (frame paper or film). 5. Record the date (if necessary). Contraindications Transparent film dressings contraindicated as a primary dressing on moderately to heavily draining wounds, avoid repeated application on patients with thin or fragile skin that may result in skin damage. Precautions 1. Stop any bleeding at the site before applying the dressing. 2. Make sure the skin is clean, dry, free of the skin oil, soap residue and lotion. 3. Do not stretch the dressing during application. 4. The dressing should not be re‐sterilized by gamma, E‐beam or steam methods Storage and Shelf Life Store at room temperature. Keep away from sunlight and avoid excessive heat and humidity. For shelf life, refer to the expiry date printed on each package.
