everybody welcome to part two of measuring your gear with Roo today we're going to get into doing actual measurements we're going to measure the frequency response of this EQ here to my left so we're all set up I've got this plugged into the same input and output as I had shown you in the previous episode so I'm the first thing I'm gonna do is calibrate our level so you don't need to do this but it makes the graphs nicer because Roo is really set up originally to record sweeps in a room which means that it's measuring actual SPL in our case we're measuring you know just a round trip into a unit with unity gain so what I'm gonna do is kind of trick the program into thinking that whatever I put into it is zero SPL so I've opened up the generator and the SPL meter so on the generator I'm gonna select tones sine frequency 1k it's just a standard level setting frequency for my output level I
