Description
EHP Products Myristin Topical Cream is a topical, lipoceutical cetyl myristoleate (also known as CMO and CM) cream that allows for direct application to joints and muscles. It is often used along with our Myristin and Myrist-Aid dietary supplements. However, it is also ideal for those wishing to try a topical cream independently. The 5% cetyl myristoleate in Myristin Topical Cream is the highest concentration of CMO in any topical cream on the market. Myristin Topical Cream is intended for joints and muscles, but it benefits skin and is pleasant smelling as well. Our customers choose this product because it is easily applied to affected areas and absorbs quickly, the cream leaves no oily residue (it is not greasy and does not stain), there is no burning sensation, and there are no known side effects. Why choose a Lipoceutical cetyl myristoleate cream? The introduction of lipoceuticals was revolutionary in formulating topical products. Technically speaking, lipoceuticals incorporate the use of liposomes, which are microscopic vesicles composed of membrane-like lipid bi-layers separated by an aqueous layer with an aqueous center. It offers the advantage of incorporating ingredients that are both lipophilic (dissolving in lipids or fats) and hydrophilic (dissolving in water). In Myristin Topical Cream, the liposomes are part of a multiphase system that contains an active ingredient in each phase. Stated simply, lipoceuticals are a system used to deliver ingredients to intended areas of the body. EHP Products chose a lipoceutical cream to carry ingredients, including 5% Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) and 0.9% Menthol, in order to offer superior absorption through skin, increased biological activity, and user acceptability. Myristin Topical Cream also offers reduced systemic absorption, compared to non-liposomal topical products.
