hey everybody welcome back to digital wood carver my name is laney shaughnessy and in this video i'm going to walk you through a bit of a fix it how to uh for the dwc 2440 from time to time as we own our cnc machines we may have to do some minor fixes and repairs whether it be on the outside of the unit or within the control box now in this video i'm going to walk you through how to replace an axis cable connector on the front of our control box here i've got three axis cables x y and z and sometimes a if you have a fourth axis unit and at the end of these motor cable con cables is a connector it's a four pin connector now my x-axis uh four-pane connector uh one of the pins has shorted out and there are four wires that create two pairs two directionals and if you lose one of the directions or if you lose one of your pins and things your c and c axis that particular axis that has shorted
