so how much do you know about the differences between the 500 series gear and the standard rackmount gear hey guys so if you're interested in audio gear like me then you might have noticed the 500 series racks that can hold smaller 500 series versions of your favorite gear but what are these and how are they different from the usually more expensive standard rack amount versions why do some people still spend more for the standard versions and why do some people choose the 500 series instead and what should you do there's a good amount of debate out there on this one and everyone seems to have an opinion so I figured for today's video I could share some of the info that I've collected about the differences and pros and cons of both types of gear so to begin with let's make sure that we're all on the same page here so I'm hoping that we all already know about standard rackmount gear so I
