we're gonna change out this older faucet that is leaking and we can't buy repair parts before anymore with this new color that we've purchased purchased this because it's a good brand and also we like the style so the first thing we're gonna have to do is take out the old faucet so we start back down here so the first step is to turn off the water so there's a a knob here that you can turn clockwise to turn off the water we've already turned it off this is for the hot water there's another one over here for the cold water so we took make sure both of those are off and then we just turn on the water I'll put the sink and make sure no water comes out it's a all the way off you also want to make sure that these aren't dripping um because sometimes older shutoff valves a leak when they when you turn them off but these seem to be okay so we're gonna go ahead and start taking apart and we'll
