[Music] if you can't open the roll paper cover a jammed auto cutter blade may be blocking it if this occurs turn the printer off and on to reset the blade if you still can't open the roll paper cover follow the steps in this video to manually return the blade to its home position turn the printer off insert a spudger or a small flathead screwdriver into the slot on either side of the auto cutter cover tilt the tool upwards to separate the side of the main cover from the auto cutter cover then remove the cover using your tool or finger turn the auto cutter knob in the direction indicated by the arrow until the triangle mark appears once the triangle is visible the blade is in its home position and you'll be able to open the roll paper cover [Music] to reduce the possibility of future auto cutter jams use tweezers to remove any paper debris from the auto cutter align the auto cutter cover
