The EWheels Speedy Folding Portable Scooter EW-01 with new Airline-Cruiseline-Approved 6 Ah battery - is the fastest, indoor-outdoor, folding, portable, scooter on the market today. It is easy-to-transport and Airline-Approved, making it ideal for travel. Even though small and lightweight, Speedy is powerful and able to reach top speeds of 11 mph; can travel 30 miles on a single charge; and has a weight capacity of 300 lb. Equipped with Electric Assist brakes, oversized front and rear tires, a front basket, and extra rear storage space, the Speedy can be operated on a number of different surfaces. With a turning radius of 33 inches and a total scooter weight of just 65 lb, Speedy is a functional, fast scooter! Please Note: When traveling by air, the lithium ion battery must be carried in carry-on baggage only. The FAA requirements for those who would like to take their mobility scooters with them on an airplane: For a wheelchair or mobility device that does not have a protective housing for its lithium ion battery, the lithium ion battery size is limited to 300 watt hours (Wh) or 25 grams equivalent lithium content (ELC). Lithium ion batteries must be removed from mobility devices and the battery terminals protected from short circuit. A battery not exceeding 300 Wh may be carried in carry-on baggage.
