hi i'm tyler with the customer service representative at explore scientific we are doing an introduction to series today on explore first lights now as i am a customer service rep i get a lot of phone calls on how to choose a particular telescope for what i want to do as a beginner now behind me we do have a wide variety of a setup for what you can do either deep sky planetary or possible astrophotography we have an 80 millimeter refractor here at 660 focal length great for deep sky objects and planetary and next to him is the 127 matt matsutov casagrain in an astonishing 1900 focal length it is mainly used for planetary and some deep sky objects next to him is the big brother the newtonian at 500 millimeters of focal length it is great for deep sky objects and planetary and behind him or underneath him is the dobsonian at 120 millimeters of focal length it is great for deep sky objects
