- [Instructor] Transfer stickers, also known as vinyl decals or vinyl lettering, are great for applying logo designs with multiple individual pieces. If designing isn't for you, Sticker Mule's vinyl lettering tool allows you to easily turn any message into a transfer sticker but if you want to design a transfer sticker from scratch, we recommend downloading our transfer sticker template. Open the template in Adobe Illustrator. We provided an example design shown in black with a cut line applied and some helpful instructions to get you started. You can start by deleting the example and pasting your design onto the artwork layer. IF you're working with a photo or raster image, you'll want to redraw your artwork in vector format or use the image trace feature and if you're working with text, make sure it's outlined by selecting type, create outlines, you'll need to make your artwork all on
