ACDelco 15239920 GM Original Equipment Automatic Transmission Mount

this video covers replacing an old rubber transmission mount with a new polyurethane mount the first step is to get the car safely off the ground i'll be using my handy wheel cribs if you're interested in making a set make sure to check out my old video on making the wheel cribs place a jack stand underneath the transmission remove the transmission cross member bolts and then remove the two transmission mount bolts the new mount uses a 7 16 by 24 bolt so we will need to remove a little bit of material with a carbide cutter deburr and clean the edges the new mount is a prothane brand polyurethane mount install the new mount with the original bolts bolt the transmission cross member back up use the jack to raise the transmission and then tighten down the remaining bolts lower the transmission and then install the new center bolt the transmission height is about exactly the same as the sto
