Each cat greeting card in this handmade gift set is blank inside. Each measures 5" X 7" and has a matching white envelope. The interior cat print is 5 1/2" X 3 1/2", surrounded by richly textured, white, recycled card stock. Each note card doubles as a small cat print and is meant to be framed. It's one card recipients will not throw away. Included in Handmade Gift Set #2: Cézanne's Cats, inspired by The Apple Basket, a perfect still life by Paul Cézanne. The cats make it even more beautiful, but also funny because they are invading the world of the perfectionist and notoriously cranky Cézanne. / Matisse Goldfish brings to new life a classic image from Henri Matisse. Unlike the cranky Cézanne, Matisse loved cats and kept several around for companionship and as models. I think of this as "the legend of the giant cat on the Seine" for goldfish because you can see how their fishbowl magnifies his face as he stares in. / Cat Is Center Of The Universe, inspired by Matisse's popular Danse I. Matisse's ecstatic dancers whirl as always. The difference in Deborah's version is that a cat has taken his place as the object of their delirious joy. / Ballet Class Visitor is the first of two artists' cats cards inspired by Edouard Degas and is also honored as the very first of Deborah's Famous Artists' Cats. Punky has joined the dancers in one of Degas' pastels. / A Cat In Degas Hat Shop, inspired by Degas' Hat Shop finds Sammy unable to resist the ribbons used for hat-making in this oil.
