yep okay the next thing that we'll do is so we've noted here a what's called a destroy egg feather so now I'm going to take this it's normally a tear would print off the the sheets of the feathers so I'm going to do that now I'm just taking off the the sheath but what I'm noting is that this feather appears to be much narrower than the normal than a normal feather normal tail feather so I'm just kind of scrape off some of the keratin and it's not flaking off as it would normally do it's like there's multiple layers of flaking so something is happening at the base of this feather in the feather follicle for it to grow in an abnormal way so you can see the rest the remaining tail feathers are quite wide and as they should be and then we've got this one particularly long very narrow feather that hasn't grown normally uh-huh so even when she preens it I don't think that's going to sit out a
