okay are you tracking me it's actually working camera tripods they uh suck at least in workshop environments they're stable sure but they have a large footprint they can't do overhead shots and they're really slow to adjust that's when professional studios oftentimes you see cameras mounted on camera arms but they can get so expensive obviously stuff like that is way outside my budget but inspired by some other youtubers i decided to build my own camera arm it's high capacity and it's really stable for its size and it only took me a single day to build it's mostly because i used off-the-shelf components so this design is yours to recreate if you want to so building montage begins now these are linear rails they're made out of solid steel rods so they're nice and sturdy and they'll serve as the stan's z-axis and these are the blocks that slide on the rails they're meant for heavy loads s
