welcome to the oneida air systems basics of dust collection series this video will show you the easiest way to make a 90 degree adjustable elbow into a 45-degree elbow run a line of tape down the outside centerline of the elbow you can also do this with a marking pen if you prefer you should always wear protective gloves while you're doing the adjustments sheet metal fittings can have very sharp edges first if you need to loose your elbow to make the adjustment you can do this by gently tapping the ends on a flat surface next turn each section so that the tape line is now 90 degrees or one quarter turn away from its original position in alternating directions you may need to slightly adjust the sections depending on your individual setup if you would like to see a particular subject covered please let us know in the comments below thanks for watching and keep your air clean
