welcome to accessory comm in this video we're going to show you our snap connector product and how to install it onto the light strip to cut your light strip you'll always find a cut mark which is next to these six soldered connection points on the light strip to safely do this so you do not damage the ribbon inside is it'll turn the light strip on its side and create a puncture mark there puncture mark will happen between the cut mark and the first LED on the strip so using this sharp pointed end of your utility knife go ahead and puncture the side of your light strip once you've punctured it you'll create a slit that is about 3/4 of an inch to an inch in length again avoid trying to cut or damage your light strip as you do this once that is done your slit will allow you to reach inside and tear the plastic sheeting across the light strip like so you'll do this to both sides of where y
