FLIR Scout TK Handheld Thermal Imager (Renewed)

hello welcome to the American backpacker today's video is going to be an update video on a product review I did about three years ago and that product review was on the floor TK scout thermal imager now I'm going to talk to you about my experiences with this unit to give you more information to educate you on whether or not it's a unit you want to purchase now what is a thermal imager a thermal imager is a unit that picks up on heat signatures given off by objects so an individual's body heat an animal's body heat a rock that's been out in the Sun all day etc a thermal imager needs no ambient light than a night-vision optics does so in other words this can be used in total darkness whereas the night-vision optics needs some sort of ambient light or an IR like for it to function or work well that's one of the reasons why I like carrying a thermal imager now three years ago four years goe
