so my method for using an iPad and a kneeboard for VFR flying is to instead of having a separate knee board for each is to combine it to just one knee board I do this with a simple piece of polycarbonate which I got and all I did was cut out two holes in the side and a shape about the size of an iPad and I stuck some velcro on it and then I thread it through the map strap of the Flyboys knee board once you thread it through you just simply thread it through over the back and through the other hole and it velcros on you just have your iPad and you can put velcro on the back and feet case or on the back of the iPad itself and you just stick it on from there you can put the knee board on you have your iPad with for flight or whatever app you use which you can use for navigation and then if you ever need to use take notes for Havis you just simply unzip it and you can quickly access whateve
