Paul has officially descended over Texas it's been down in the lower 40s the last couple days it's been rainy and dreary and just not good flying weather overall not even for IFR it's been kind of icy up there in the clouds so I'm gonna take this time with crappy weather indoors to sit down and address kind of a slew of questions about a certain category that a lot of people have asked me over time essential flight gear what I carry in my flight bag now what is essential to me may not be essential to you but I am gonna show the different things that I carry in my flight bag every time I go fly and then I'm gonna cover a few do's and don'ts with carrying items with you when you're flying where you should keep them where you shouldn't keep them all that kinds of stuff now as I'm going through this list of gear and if I mention a certain product or show a certain product I'm gonna provide
