remove it the resistor on an 89 f250 pretty much any old Ford truck it is located right there the fan motor is going to be here you don't have to take the fan motor out to remove the resistor but I have it out for other reasons so anyway it's just two 5/16 screws or an eight millimeter will work one on the top one on the bottom and of course take the plug out until the two screws out resistor will just come out like that this resistor actually looks good I'm going to replace it anyway so if you're installing a used resistor just plug it in don't install it yet try your switches inside the cab first to see if it will work make sure it's not touching any other metal stuff I mean these make sure these aren't so we'll see what happens all right that works really good
