so uh hello and welcome today we are going to be replacing the liquid crystal display in a Lenovo t520 there it is so step number one is to get these screws at the bottom of the hinge undone and out so it looks like at this point I'm just going to be removing these four screws at the corners of the assembly and landing some screws on the edges which should be fairly straightforward and easy problems at this point oh yeah so should be noted that I have my webcam unloved intentionally so don't comment that oh no your webkinz plug yeah all right looks like I'm missing some little screws on the edges cool so we've got our display connection there so we need to very very carefully get this tape on the edge up all right so we're good to go there it's probably a good idea to leave that mostly on so I'm just gonna verify that this screen still functions and still has that horrible buzzing sound
