I'm Richard Butler from dpreview and this is the fujifilm xf1 the XF one is fujifilm's compact enthusiastic camera sitting alongside the larger x22 offer a more pocketable high quality camera it features an intricate mechanical zoom lens that also acts as the cameras on/off switch once extended the lens offers useful 25 to 100 millimeter equivalent range there is only really bright at the wide end of things it also features Fujifilm's clever exr technology that allows you to shoot 6 megapixel images either with greater dynamic range or with lower noise despite having relatively few external controls a clever user interface means it's as fun to take control over the camera as it is to use as a point and shoot overall the XF one is an attractive camera and one that's enjoyable to use however while those exr modes are useful if you're shooting jpg they can make life a little bit awkward if
