hey everyone in this video I want to give you a quick explanation of the LM the LM t that you'll find in the Garmin Nuvi automotive series of GPS here I have the box for a Garmin Nuvi 2797 L M T and L M T stands for lifetime maps and traffic so this GPS is going to give us both of those features here we have the 2797 LM t but when we look at the back of the unit to see what model it is it doesn't say LM T this only says new V 2797 L M well the reason for that is that in order to get the traffic you need this traffic receiver this comes in the box with your GPS but you don't get the LM t until you use both of these together the unit itself gives you lifetime maps and the T comes from using this included traffic receiver with your GPS that makes it in LM t even though the unit just says LM the same is true of the Garmin Nuvi 3597 LM t HD and the HD comes from the fact that this has HD tra
