so this is the external bell unit or the self-actuating bell unit abbreviated to sab very easy to fit apart from the fact you have to be extremely careful because normally you're a number of meters from the ground balancing on top of a ladder so do take care first thing then you'll notice the fixing holes there's one either side simply the screws come out and the cover very easily lifts off just bearing in mind it's worth noticing here that you need a bit of upward clearance just to clear the the top um it's like a fixing bracket which slides behind the back plate you just need to be able to lift it up slightly to clear that so you might want to bear that in mind as you're actually fitting the uh the bell box back plate to the wall so i'll just pop that up there out the way so i've got the um supply cable just here that's terminated ready and the things to note about the internals of th
