(energetic techno music) - Hey, guys. This is Brendan with Sonic Electronics, and today I'm gonna be showing you how to wire a dual four ohm sub in parallel to a two ohm final impedance. So here we have our NVX VCW10, and one way we can tell it's a dual voice coil sub is that we have two sets of terminals on each side of the actual basket. You can read the impedance of each coil to verify that it is a four ohm load per coil just in case. You never know. So I'm gonna go ahead and do that right now. First we wanna go ahead and set our meter setting to the ohm or resistance setting. Take our test leads here. And it doesn't matter which one goes, a positive or a negative. It's just gonna read the resistance. We also wanna make sure that the woofer's facing up towards the sky 'cause if it's facing down, it will change or fluctuate the actual impedance.
