hi everyone welcome back to the ultimate tech hub on today's episode i wanted to clarify an issue with the 1050 ti graphics card install that we did last year it's not really an issue but more of a clarification we've had many viewers and subscribers ask if the 6-pin connector from the power supply is necessary for the install and the short answer is no it is not because the 1050 ti draws a small amount of power the motherboard can handle the power requirements the reason i show the power supply connection is because we always show the full install in all of our videos on ultimate tech hub one benefit to not using the six pin connector is that it's one less wire taking up space in your pc chassis and it's one less connection so it's a faster install but is there a benefit to using the six pin connector not really unless your motherboard is very old and outdated and you are worried about
