greetings welcome back to the channel I'm Tim I'm here at my repair shop donor auto in Anchorage Alaska and I got a quick tip on these GM variable power steering systems and this one's actually going to be subject vehicle here's an o1 GMC Yukon XL and that's this tip will apply to all General Motors Chevy or GMC vehicles equipped with that variable power steering where there's solenoid valve on the back of the pump that changes the power assist during certain driving conditions these systems are super problematic and actually this is one I just put a brand new OE pump on that didn't turn out so well still got some issues with the power says I should have done things a little differently making this video to help save you from making the same mistake I did and maybe save me a few bucks you're watching the car after camp all right so yeah I put an OE pump on it I really don't like doing a
