this is eric with cable n plus comm today i want to show you the arlington industries lv4 this is a for gang low voltage mounting bracket it's non metallic and it's designed for existing construction application so if you're going to create a new low voltage outlet somewhere in your home or business from scratch you're gonna have to put this in the wall first and then you can come on over the top and now you have a base to install any kind of wall plate or face plate or home theater plate when you kind of custom plate so the good thing is it's going to adjust to fit quarter inch to one inch thick wall board paneling or drywall and when you install it it's really its own template so you're going to sit on the wall I would recommend using a level you're going to get it in the exact place you want to be any just trace the inside you can create the template and you start cutting the drywall
