this is the baby ping digital baby monitor it is supposed to let you watch your baby monitor from your smartphone or tablet whether you are home or away I wanted to love this so badly but I had a lot of issues with it the baby pink monitor connects to your home Wi-Fi network to send the video footage to any iOS device sorry Android users this is not for you you pick up the signal with the baby ping app it is free in the App Store but the monitor itself costs $200 the camera is capable of capturing full-color high quality but not high definition video and audio the picture is very good when it works I had so many connection issues with this system and I think most of the issues have to do with the app not the monitor you set up the monitor by hardwiring it into your router once the camera learns your network you can unplug it and set it up in baby's room it tells you that it is connected
