At the consumer level it's most commonly used when baking with whole grain flours that typically don't rise due to their lack of gluten thus making it popularly used in gluten-free recipes and gluten-free products. In herbal therapy, the properties of Guar Gum Powder as a form of soluble fiber. Directions: Take this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 oz. (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Precautions - Contraindicated in bowel obstruction.
