okay I don't want to waste your time so if your headset uses USB then this video is not what you're looking for if your headset uses a 3.5 millimeter audio jack like this one however then this video may have the solution to your problem that you're looking for okay let's go [Applause] so I made a video a while ago showing how I got my headset mic working again after the mic quit working due to a Windows 10 update in that video I had to enable a privacy setting to get it working again but that's beside the point that video has been found by a lot of people just like you who are having a problem with their mic they tried enabling that setting but it didn't help them because that's not what was causing their problem they have headsets that use a 3.5 millimeter audio cable like this one and they can plug in the headset to the headphone jack on their PC and their headphones play sound just f
